Membership

Directors of Volunteers in Austin (DOVIA) provides networking opportunities for volunteer professionals in Central Texas. Our mission is to promote volunteer service administration as a profession, facilitate the exchange of information, and promote professional development and education.

Members and non-members are invited to our monthly meetings featuring discussions and presentations on topics relating to volunteer management, non-profit life, and personal and professional development.  We also host our Annual Conference on Volunteer Management in August at an affordable rate for non-profit professionals.

ANNUAL EVENTS

SUMMER CELEBRATION

Enjoy social time with your colleagues during our summer celebration. Food and drink provided! Cost is $15 for non-members and free for members!

WINTER PARTY

The holiday party gets us all together before the major holiday season. Enjoy food and drink and a white elephant gift exchange! Cost is $15 for non-members and free for members!

DOVIA CONFERENCE

DOVIA puts on an annual conference to aid in the professional development of volunteer managers in the Austin area. Members enjoy a $15 discount on ticket prices.

Meetings

Meetings are usually the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 11:30 am to about 1:00pm.
