Directors of Volunteers in Austin (DOVIA) provides networking opportunities for volunteer professionals in Central Texas. Our mission is to promote volunteer service administration as a profession, facilitate the exchange of information, and promote professional development and education.

Members and non-members are invited to our monthly meetings featuring discussions and presentations on topics relating to volunteer management, non-profit life, and personal and professional development.  We also host our Annual Conference on Volunteer Management in August at an affordable rate for non-profit professionals.

DOVIA puts on an annual conference to aid in the professional development of volunteer managers in the Austin area. Members enjoy a $15 discount on ticket prices.


Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at varying locations from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
